[HOTEL REVIEW] Hilton Manchester Deansgate

The upscale Hilton Manchester Deansgate occupies 23 floors of Beetham Tower, Manchester’s highest building and one of the city’s most iconic modern landmarks. All of the 279 contemporary rooms and suites have a scenic view of the cityscape, as does the stylish Cloud 23 bar, one of the city’s most popular nightspots. Even the swimming pool here has a view thanks to being enclosed in glass panels. A notable downside is the lack of free Wi-Fi access which is reserved for Hilton Hhonors members, and only guests staying in the Executive Rooms can enjoy a free breakfast, as well as other perks in the Executive Lounge. While this is one of the trendiest places to stay in Manchester city center, it's more expensive than nearby upscale hotels. It’s worth checking out more reasonably priced options, like The Midland which occupies an elegant heritage building, and has an impressive pool and squash court.
