[HOTEL REVIEW] Holiday Inn Atlanta-Perimeter/Dunwoody
This large corporate hotel with 250 guest rooms, situated in Atlanta’s edge city of Dunwoody, largely attracts business travelers with its many on-site meeting spaces and proximity to a number of corporate parks. It is less suited to Atlanta tourists, given that downtown is about an hour’s ride on public transportation. However, the hotel runs a free shuttle service for locations within a five-mile radius, including the nearest MARTA station a mile east. Renovated in 2013, the hotel does have some design-oriented touches in the lobby, but the pool and certain room elements feel old. Guest rooms have modern, corporate-style furnishings, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-FI. There have been reports of bedbugs at the property.
